Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze the relationship of the consumption of collectible items with a new digital market, in this case from the use of Blockchain technology (such as cryptocurrencies and crypto art), to understand how education could potentially be developed with the ascension of the digital multiverse. Therefore, in the present work the conceptual relationship of what it means to collect historically is analyzed and in the present, in a second moment the description of the blockchain with cryptocurrencies is developed and later the analysis of the NFTs. Finally, education and the vision about the metaverse and how these new digital technologies could be used are reviewed, in order to arrive at recommendations and reflections typical of the educational field.
